Coulometric cells

ESA’s proprietary high-efficiency cells are the ideal choice for the most- demanding applications, particularly where a high degree of selectivity, stability, and sensitivity is required. We design our coulometric cells with an array of uses in mind – from high-sensitivity detection and multiple-analyte analysis to simple sample conditioning.

Model 5010A Coulometric Dual Electrode Analytical Cell

This dual channel cell incorporates two high surface area coulometric electrodes to provide excellent long term stability and reproducible day-to-day operation. This cell is used when higher electrode potentials (>700 mV) are required or when extended lifespan is needed.

                                                                                                                    

Model 5011A High Sensitivity Dual Electrode Analytical Cell

This cell incorporates a unique combination of an enhanced response amperometric electrode (flow-through) with the screening capabilities of a Coulometric electrode to produce very sensitive, selective and stable dual channel electrochemical measurements. This cell provides the highest sensitivity, selectivity and stability available with ESA’s electrochemical detectors.

Model 5014B Microdialysis Analytical Cell

Similar to the Model 5011 cell, this cell is specially designed coulometric cell optimized and tested to ensure performance in the analysis of in-vivo microdialysis perfusates. This cell incorporates an isolated, purgable, solid-state reference electrode to minimize the influence of aCSF solutions.


Model 6210 Coulometric 4-channel Array Cell

The CoulArray multi-electrode cell provides 4 independent working electrodes in one small package. This schematic shows a "cutaway" of a 4 channel ESA CoulArray cell. The CoulArray detector is available with up to 16 independent controlled electrodes.
