Model 5040 Amperometric Analytical Cell
This thin-layer amperometric cell is designed to be used with a variety of target electrode materials and permits easy disassembly to restore the electrode surface by polishing or other methods. The innovative solid-state palladium reference electrode is virtually maintenance free, so that there is never a need for special filling solutions, cleaning, or replacement. This reference electrode compensates for changes in pH and provides a stable response over a broad pH range. It is especially useful with pH gradient mobile phases and is commonly used with pulse mode operation.
Optional working electrode materials that are available are: Gold (P/N 55-0187), Platinum (P/N 55-0183), Glassy carbon (P/N 70-2000) or Silver (P/N 70-0096) working electrodes.

Model 5041A Amperometric Microdialysis Cell
Similar to the Model 5041 cell, this low volume, thin film amperometric cell employs a choice of working electrode surfaces. This cell is designed to be used in microbore situations which require the ultimate in mass sensitivity.
Our development of a glassy carbon target electrode has lead to the lowest detection limits of any commercially available electrochemical detector.
When used in microdialysis applications, this cell’s isolated reference electrode improves performance when aCSF solutions are used.
