Having trouble keeping up with the latest literature? We all know it's important, but it can be a daunting task for the busy researcher - even with the help of the Internet. Here are four abstracts of interesting references employing ESA technology that you might have missed.

• The first paper deals with a technique to enhance the sensitivity of ECD with ESA's Coulochem detector through the use of electroactive derivatives. Read the abstract.

Although the applications described in the last three papers are diverse and very specific, what they have in common is ESA's CoulArray detector. As a group, they demonstrate the fundamental utility of the coulometric array for profiling at high sensitivity.

• It has been suggested that red wine has significant health benefits, but the next paper uses the Coulometric Array detector to asses the levels of a suspected carcinogen in wine. Read the abstract.
