Global Product Manager
Customer-focused marketing position accountable for leading the strategic marketing programs, product life-cycle management and tactical marketing implementation in support of ESA’s Corona® platform sales targets and growth. Reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Marketing plans and deliverables will revolve around the central concepts of:
- customer support
- accurate value-added benefit statements
- absolute product quality
- sales growth
- action-oriented defined processes
Accountabilities:
- Strategic and Tactical Marketing Programs
- Product Life-Cycle Management
- Business Development
Key Metrics:
- Sales growth
- Profitability
- Execution on new product introduction
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years Product Management and Strategic/Tactical Marketing experience with a scientific/technical product line
- Expertise in designing and implementing product management business processes
- Proven track record in: translating market research/customer needs into value-added product specifications; product life-cycle management [exit strategies and new product introductions]
- Strong technical presentation and customer communication skills [in particular with Key Opinion Leaders]
- Experience leading a cross-functional team and driving project management
- Experience developing sales tools and training programs
- Initiative to drive fact-based decisions, projects, and deliver results - demonstrated 'can-do' attitude
- Leadership and collaborative skills to influence and work in partnership with 'virtual teams' and colleagues across all functions in the organization
- Self-motivated, action-oriented and results driven
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or similar degree/discipline
- 30% domestic and international travel
